Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The singer is an important player in his part of the Latin mainstream. Una Lady Como Tu, his hit from 2016, received the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for the Best Song. In Medellin, Sony distributed La Industria Inc. and then released ADN as his debut full-length album. In the Top Latin Albums chart, it reached No. 8. The following year he was a part of Ozuna to record the Top Five smash Vaina Loca. Mala Influencia, released in 2020 by Noriel and his Dopamina album the following year. He appeared later in 2021 on a duet TINI on her streaming smash song Maldita Foto. The singer appeared with him in 2023 for 2000, which featured the hit single La Bachata. Turizo is a product of a musical household the mother of his younger brother and father are both musicians. According to him, music was a mandatory element of his existence. When he was a kid, he began learning how to play the saxophone, the ukulele, and piano. His initial goal was to become a veterinarian his brother Julian encouraged him to enroll in lessons in singing with a Cuban instructor and as a consequence of him discovering his gift as a singer altered the direction of his life.
