Maggie Grace, born Margaret Grace Denig on 21 September of 1983 in Worthington, Ohio is an American actor. Maggie Grace is most well-known for her role as Shannon Rutherford and Kim Mills respectively on ABC's Lost television show. Maggie Grace is originally from Worthington from Ohio left high school in order to move to Los Angeles after her divorced parents divorced. The actress landed her first part, as Rachel's Room's title character, in 2001, despite having a difficult time financially. She went on to earn a Young Artist Award nomination in 2002 with her portrayal of 15-year-old murder victim Martha Moxley in the television film Murder which aired in Greenwich. Grace Rutherford's character in Lost between 2004 and 2005, was nominated for an Screen Actors Guild Award. Grace quit the show in 2005 to pursue the role of a greater part in movies, and had a role alongside Tom Welling as Kim Mills in the film Taken. She was as a character in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club in 2007 and Taken (2008) with Liam Neeson. Taken 2 (2012), Taken 3 2014 and Taken 4 (2014) are her re-casts of the characters. Grace played Shannon again in Lost's finale and in two additional episodes. In 2013, Grace appears in the episode Californianation of the 6th season. She portrays Faith as a groupie as well as a model for the stars. Hank Moody is played by David Duchovny. She is part of the Gyllenhaal clan as well as the older sister of Jake Gyllenhaal. When she was a teenager her career began on small roles with her father. She was also in Donnie Darko with her brother. The next film she appeared in was Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind in 2002, and Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal has received critical praise for her lead performances in Secretary (2002 the erotic romance drama), and Sherrybaby (606), both that earned their Golden Globe Award nods. The Dark Knight, which was released in 2008, following numerous highly successful films, including World Trade Center (2006) and World Trade Center (2006), earned Gyllenhaal more fame. She was nominated in the Academy Award as Best Supporting Actress for her role as Rachel Dawes in Crazy Heart, (2009). Her subsequent roles include Nanny McPhee, the Big Bang and Hysteria. Other roles she has played include Secret Service agents in White House Down (2013, action thriller), actors in Frank (2014 and drama The Kindergarten Teacher 2018) as well as the role of the Kindergarten teacher. Gyllenhaal was first introduced as a writer and director in 2021 with her psychological drama The Lost Daughter. For this film she was awarded an award for the Best Screenplay Award at the Venice International Film Festival and was nominated for an Academy Award.
